Arrowhead Lakes, Arrowhead Lake Real Estate is a gated resort community in Pocono Lake, PA (18347). Originally designed as a Poconos Getaway Vacation community and now has mostly vacation and retirement home owners with a small percentage of owners living there year around.

Most owners at Arrowhead Lakes use their homes as second homes, retirement homes or investment / rental homes.

Families and couples are both attracted to the neighborhood because of the amenities, the security and its location fairly close to skiing, water parks and state parks. Many owners rent their homes out short term to other vacationers. Many home owners pay for their home with the revenue from guests renting their home.

You should be aware that Arrowhead Lakes is considered somewhat secluded and the community is about 5-10 miles from many restaurants and local attractions. Many folks like this because it has a truly "getaway feel". However, while a little distant restaurants, skiing, the raceway and other attractions are easy to get to from the community.

Two Lakes, four Beaches and three pools, Tennis courts, a "snowy" area, fitness center, and a clubhouses with structured activities for both adults and children. The community also has professional management and an active board that oversees daily management of the neighborhood.

Skiing is about 9 miles and outdoor water parks about 20. Pocono raceway is about 15 minutes from the entrance to the community. But, this is a great place to getaway to a vacation home where you plan to generally spend your time on the Arrowhead Lakes property. Arrowhead Lakes is generally considered to be one of the "Best Vacation Home" communities in the Poconos.

Annual dues include 3 Heated Pools, 2 stocked lakes for swimming, non motor boating or fishing, clean beaches with picnic areas, playground areas, and restrooms, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Clubhouse(s),

Most homes styles in the neighborhood tend towards contemporary with many chalets, saltboxes, open floor plan ranch homes, and unique floor plan contemporary style homes. Homes on average are 20 years old, so there are some older homes in need of renovation and some newer homes with up to date interiors.

Lots run on average 1/2 acre with some slightly larger and some smaller. Lots are generally wooded with some lakefronts, some stream fronts and many Lake views. Water and sewer are generally well and onsite septic with a few homes on a community central sewerage system. Be sure to ask about this when viewing homes as the central sewer homes have a slightly higher HOA Fee.
