Lake Harmony. a motor boating, lake is located geographically in the center of the Poconos Mountains. Indoor Waterparks, state parks and game lands, skiing, and lake activities are within minutes of any home in Lake Harmony. This is one of only about 6 Motor boating lakes in the Poconos Mountains and it is the southernmost and closest to the Philadelphia market.

In the western, quiet side of the Poconos Lake Harmony is close to both Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski resorts. These winter activities along with lake activities and hiking, biking, hunting and exploring in the adjacent state game lands and forests make this a four season destination for tourists.

The Lake itself has limited access with only those homeowners and businesses who are lakefront, owners in a community called "Lake Harmony Estates, guests of Split Rock Resort, and a few others having access to the lake. Still the lake gets crowded in summer with Water skiers and residents using it.

There is a unique attraction to Lake Harmony. The communities in the area all have an "In the Mountains" feel because of elevation and vegetation. It's also not unusual to see a black bear or two while wandering around the lake.

Lake Harmony's location in the central western Poconos means it has easy access to many Poconos attractions like: the quaint village of Jim Thorpe PA, indoor Waterpark at Split Rock Resort, The Pocono Raceway, 2 major Pocono Ski resorts, both Lake Harmony and Big Boulder Lake, Penn's Peak Concert Venue, Mt Airy Casino, white water rafting on the Lehigh river, many state parks and state lakes.
