Indian Mountain Lakes
Homes for Sale
Albrightsville, PA
One of the oldest and largest neighborhoods in the Poconos Indian Mountain Lakes is gated with 3 lakes, professional management, tennis courts, beaches clubhouse and kids play area. Roads are paved and maintained by the community. Because of the size of the community the HOA dues tend toward the lower yearly cost of neighborhoods in the Poconos.
This is one of the communities that is closest to the Philadelphia market and easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast extension.
The lake is non motorboating and allows kayaks, canoes, rowboats. Homes tend to be on the older, smaller size with some newer and larger sprinkled about. There are log cabins, contemporaries and ranch styles throughout the neighborhood.
Short Term rentals are allowed with township approval in parts of the community. Most home owners are vacation owners with a small percentage of retirees and year around residents.
People buy homes here because of the proximity to Poconos attractions like: The Pocono Raceway, Skiing at Big Boulder, Indoor water parks, state lands both gamelands and state parks, the town of Jim Thorpe with its quaint shops and restaurants, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, train rides and local antique stores.
